Make the Case to Join NAFTZ

Over 700 of your peers are NAFTZ members – you should be one too!

NAFTZ Membership is designed to strengthen your FTZ compliance and benefit the industry. Let us help you make the case for membership to your leadership.

Since its founding in 1973, NAFTZ has encouraged the advancement of the FTZ industry and served as lead advocate for the FTZ community. We recognize that now more than ever, companies need ways to remain competitive and adapt to an ever-changing trade environment.

Our membership dues are very reasonable and they provide excellent value for a wide variety of services. Here are six specific ways NAFTZ membership can enrich your company and enhance your team’s expertise on FTZs:

• Have an Industry Advocate. NAFTZ works with state and federal agencies, officials and representatives to cultivate a positive understanding of the FTZ Program across the nation. Members can engage in grassroots initiatives through the Advocacy Committee and legislative-focused events such as the Legislative Summit and Hill Visits, and panels with public officials.
• Industry News. Stay well-informed and involved on matters impacting the FTZ program and stakeholders, including legislation, regulations, new and potential changes in policies and procedures, and best practices. Members can submit industry specific questions and share information based on their knowledge and experience.
• Continuing Education. Members receive substantial savings on event-registration fees with many live events eligible for NASBA-approved CPE and NCBFAA offered CCS/CES credit; access free of charge our popular webinars covering a variety of topics important to FTZ grantees and operator/users.
• Savings. NAFTZ members can apply for significant discounts on FTZ Operator Bonds and other U.S. Customs Bonds. NAFTZ Career Center is the leading FTZ job board for access to top talent. NAFTZ association members receive a discounted rate for postings.
• Professional Development. Participate on NAFTZ committees and serve on the Board of Directors to enhance your involvement and contribution in the association and develop key leadership skills.
• Community. NAFTZ helps you build professional and personal connections with more than 700 FTZ professionals representing the major stakeholder groups in the program – grantees, operator/users, and service professionals, as well as key government regulators.
